L-R: HW Bucyana and Hon. Lady Justice Susan Kanyange

On Tuesday August 9,2022, staff at the Court of Appeal held a small do at the Court premises to bidfarewell to Hon. Lady Justice Susan Kanyange and also celebrate her elevation as Acting Judge of the High Court.

The celebration was joined by the Court Deputy Registrars; HW Lillian Bucyana, HW Dr Alex Karocho Mushabe; Assistant Registrar; HW Henry Twinomuhwezi and Acting Chief Magistrate, HW Allan Gakyaro.

The staff thanked HL Kanyange for the service rendered at the Court. She was given a plaque in recognition of her service at the Court. 

She also formally handed over the Court's Registry operations to HW Bucyana.

The newly sworn-in Judge also received gift hampers with the climax of the do being cake-cutting.

Hon. Lady Justice Kanyange used the platform to thank the staff for the kind gesture. She also thanked the Judicial Officers present for the teamwork.
